A Texas woman was taken off life support Monday, against her family's wishes, after the hospital invoked a law allowing it to deny further care.
But a pro-life group stepped in and helped her "escape" to a place that was willing to provide care. She is now in stable condition.

Prayers for Carolyn Jones and her Family, Donald and Kina.
I dont think this Texas law can be blamed entirely upon Obama. I think Texas has been anti-life when it comes to inconvenient patients since before Obamacare passed.
Thank God they didnt have a wall of sheriffs blocking the way.
Was she an organ donor with healthy organs? They get a little antsy to get you “dead” if that’s the case, in my exposure.
Not likely, age 61.
Here’s the statute (long). Passed in 1999. George Bush was Governor. Texas House and Senate members were pretty evenly divided between Democrat and Republican.
Oops, here’s the statute:

This has been a big problem in Texas for a long time. Of all the states, why is this continuing to happen? Where are the politicians and the governor?
there is only one here.
money
only one issue
Medicare is still and will continue to make havoc for this nation as long as people think they can live forever in a coma and the govt will pay for it....
TX is the most pro-life of the large states, but with Beto-bots everywhere, what does that mean?
...you would not believe how many frail sickly near death elderly are kept alive by families wishes so they can cash the retirement and SS checks....
Ive seen this one first hand...
‘there is only one here...money’
Republicans in Texas are pretty much all owned by the big donors. I could list half a dozen examples, starting with converting our freeways into toll roads, forcing Gardicil injections into little girls, inability to even control the massive increases in property taxes, inability to pass any kind of school voucher program, inability to protect little girls that simply want to take a shower. See, just did.
In this, I strongly suspect, Big Hospital cashed in a few chips and got the law passed. So despite Texas Republican being nominally pro-life, they answered to a higher calling, yet again.
