Which of those states have enacted laws to give their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote though? Campaigning there might not make any difference.

I have to wonder how that’s all going to play out when the rubber meets the road. Imagine if your state voted for one candidate, but the state law required that the electoral votes go to the other candidate?

Goes into effect once total EVs of approving states is 270.

Not happening by next year. But maybe 2024 with a new GOP candidate...
