Whoopi mocks Bill de Blasio's 2020 announcement on 'The View:' 'What are you doing?'

It's safe to assume "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg won't be voting for Bill de Blasio.

"New York City may--," Goldberg said before bursting into laughter on Thursday's show while discussing the New York City mayor's big 2020 announcement.

"Bill de Blasio is running for president." Goldberg said, before adding the decision was a bad career move for de Blasio, whom she said still had work to do in his own city.

"What are you doing?" she asked. Goldberg appeared to call out de Blasio's announcement video, claiming that he left out some major negatives during his administration.

"Here's the thing that you didn't mention: Homelessness is near record highs. Congestive pricing will take the minimum wage money that we just gave to people, it'll take it away from them because they have to pay the congestive pricing," she said.

"Public housing is falling apart. You can't seem to fire anybody, the subway's are underserved. The buses are slow. What the hell are you going to do?"

Goldberg wasn't the only one to scoff at De Blasio's run. President Trump called him a joke while the New York Post featured a cover with several people laughing.

If you’re a high profile Dem, and you’ve lost Whoopie, you are in deep trouble.
One phrase Whoopie used is something I’ve never heard before:
“Congestive Pricing”. It doesn’t sound like anything I’d want my city to enforce.

76% of NYC citizens told a pollster the Mayor really should not go down the 2020 road.

He won the mayor’s seat with 72% of the vote....after he had the number tattooed on his wife’s a**
to double the thrill, DiBlobbio began making plans for the presidency.

But, Pray Tell, Where Does De Blasio Get The Money For His Eternal Presidential Campaign Trips?

NEWS CLIP BY Marcia Kramer, CBS News, April 5, 2019 / FR Posted by EinNYC
.....ethical questions are being raised about where he’s getting all the money to fund his cross-country presidential campaign trips.“On The Road Bill,” the mail-it-in mayor of New York City has been galloping all over the country to test the presidential waters with a suspicious campaign cash box that’s raising lots of eyebrows. “To me, that’s a real no-no,” Betsy Gotbaum of the Citizens Union said. Gotbaum is questioning how de Blasio is raising money for his “Fairness PAC” – the political action committee that is allowing the mayor to dream about running the country.“Is it the appearance of something wrong?” CBS2’s Marcia Kramer asked .......

REALITY CHECK—De Blobbio gave his wife $850 million tax dollars for (cough) mental health projects. But the imbecile can’t account for the 41 programs (money laundries) supposedly spending staggering amounts of tax dollars......

Blobbo and his fashion-flop wife enter GMA studios.

This is who greeted them

Bill Clinton officiates at oath-taking as Blobbo's family looks on.

If nothing else, maybe the very poor material showing of people running for the DNC nomination will TEACH Liberals what discernment is.

After all-if a die-hard Liberal can’t / won’t support DeBlasio... maybe there’s hope for them. Too bad they can’t apply the same careful scrutiny to Liberal idiocy ...altogether

[[”What are you doing?” she asked]]

Simple- He decided that ruining a state (which admittedly was mostly ruined already) wasn’t enough- He wants to ruin the entire nation too

I thought about Mayor John V. Lindsay and his run for President and how well that went. Then I wondered how many Mayors had ever tried ro run.
Quick: When is the last time a sitting mayor was nominated for president by a major party?

If you said DeWitt Clinton in 1812, you nailed it. The New York City mayor lost to incumbent James Madison, becoming the first and last politician to vie for the White House directly from City Hall. Fellow New York City mayor John Lindsay tried in 1972, but bowed out early in the primaries. In 2008, another NYC mayor, Rudy Giuliani, had a similarly early exit (though his run was several years after he’d left office). In fact, the only president to have ever been a mayor of a major city, Grover Cleveland of Buffalo, was New York governor in between. (Calvin Coolidge briefly served as mayor of the town of Northampton, Massachusetts.*) Throughout American history, the road to the White House has not proceeded down an urban boulevard. Most presidents are drawn from the Senate or governorships, but today just six senators and five governors was ever a mayor.

Can a Mayor Take the White House?

As far as Mayors go, I suspect Clint Eastwood would have a better chance even today but he is too old and the wrong political persuasion.

Whoopi Goldberg is a vile, evil individual...eaten up with hate. The mayor is a dunce, however.

So what is the bad news if millions like her stay home.

They didn’t vote for Trump in 2016, and they won’t in 2020.
