Looking at 20 years in Club Fed is not a bright prospect for a smaller fish to take the fall while the bigger fish get away.
Nope, that small fish, and it only takes one, will give up the bigger fish to get a reduced sentence.

I hope you’re right. This is the most treasonous episode in American history, and letting people slide for this is unacceptable and can’t be tolerated. I understand that most think all of this will be swept under the rug, but it can’t. Major entities within the federal government were corrupted and it must be swept out or we have no country left. I’m overly optimistic, but I really think something big will happen here!

If it looks like Comey is facing serious charges and/or time (which at this point seems likely) he may well decide that his silence is too great of a personal sacrifice to protect Obama and/or others on his staff. Comey is a very wealthy man; the prospects of prison and personal destruction would not sit well with him.

Obama and Jarrett must be very worried.
