Although I’m hoping for True Justice — and am willing to give Barr the benefit of the doubt based on his performance so far — if I had to make a bet I would bet that none of the perpetrators of the biggest political crimes in the history of the United States will ever see a single day behind bars. Not one. In fact, I would (sadly) bet a lot of money that True Justice will not see the light of day.
The sad reality. What we have lost is far, far more than a “national identity” or any real sense of “America”. “America” is just one large Corporate Mall Headquarters. We seem to be able to do whatever we want, nowadays except have a safe community where we can raise our families and contribute to a society that is actually improving the world. We lost it a long time ago, seems to me and we just haven’t been able to let go and a handful of people are just taking advantage of us at this point.
