I’m glad he’s fighting this smear job. This case had nothing to do with fighting human trafficking and everything about burnishing the political career of some sheriff or DA once a rich guy ended up on tape. A defendant of normal means swept up in a sting like this wouldn’t be able to fight back, and precedent means a lot.
The police dept came out later and said there was no evidence of human trafficking. Seems all the ladies there wanted to be there. Probably already working at another massage parlor down the street.
These cops weren't fighting human trafficking. They were pervs watching porn for almost a year. They were hoping to get somebody important to shake down.
I used to have a lot of respect for LEOs. I used to have a lot of respect for our representatives in congress too.
