A security guard at a Walgreens on FM 1960 opened fire on two armed, masked teens who were preparing to enter the store, critically wounding one of the suspects. He later died at the hospital. The double shooting happened around midnight on Saturday night at the Walgreens at FM 1960 and Ella Boulevard in northeast Harris County, just west of Interstate 45. Lt. L.R. Rush of the Harris County Sheriff's Office told Metro Video that two cousins, ages 18 and 16, approached the store in what authorities believe was a planned robbery.
They did not see the security guard, who came from around the corner and approached the pair. He told them to stop, at which time one of the armed men pulled a gun from his waist band and pointed it at the guard. The guard pulled his gun and opened fire on both suspects. The security guard "engaged them at this point and verbally ordered them to put their guns down," Rush said. "The one with the gun pointed at him and he let fly. He took both of them down." The suspect who allegedly pulled his gun, 16, was shot multiple times and transported to the hospital in critical condition. Sheriff Ed Gonzales later tweeted that he had been "confirmed deceased" at the hospital. The second suspect, 18,was shot in the calf and tried to run away. Rush, who happened to be in the vicinity, responded to the scene and apprehended the second suspect.

Good work, Pal.
You deserve a raise and a Monogrammed protective vest!
Teens. I wonder if they were white honor students.
We would be a lot ‘richer’ had LEO allowed the other one to bleed out or the guard taken him out also..
Now he will be a drain on the system for about 60 or 70 years....
You have to drop armed robbers with masks. You have to. Good job here.
If Obama has a son...

Let me guess, they were both good boys, and were profiled because they were wearing masks and opening fire. Thanks MeneMeneTekelUpharsin.
I don’t care what race they were. If I were in charge, should the parents want to protest, I would have them arrested and caned. Seriously. If the complaining continued, the punishment would be far worse. This stuff HAS to stop. Now.
you can tell them by the way they throw those distelfink gang signs around
Walgreens- more secure than 99% of public schools.
You folks are aware the the guard will probably get fired. SOP.
But they were aspiring rap stars about to turn their lives around. . . . . . . .
Good. I hope every thug criminal dies with their plans thwarted.
