Whittemore lived another 18 years, and should stand as an example to everyone of extreme bravery and dedication to freedom and our nation.
I recommend to visitors in the Boston area that they go to the battle sites in Lexington, Concord, and Arlington. It is worth the time to stand in front of the markers and think about what those men did.
