President Trump has apparently taken charge of this year’s Fourth of July celebration in Washington, D.C., and will possibly give a personal address, angering some Democrats who fear the president will politicize the holiday.
City officials in the nation's capital were notified of Trump’s plan to address the nation on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and move the traditional fireworks display from the Capitol Reflecting Pool to the nearby West Potomac Park, the Washington Post reported.

Living here in the swamp, back in the day when Clinton was president, I walked down to the mall with wife and son to watch the fireworks. After they started they stopped for a long time and I went home. Then they started again. Apparently the Clintons had organized the fireworks so they would start while the Clintons were partying with their nearest and dearest swamp rats at one place so they could move their party to another place where they could party one with more and better swamp rats.
It ruined 4th of July for many of us. So don't lecture me on "nonpartisan" 4ths.
The July Fourth celebration is about the founding of our country, its Constitution and the establishment of our Republic. All of which the “Progressives”, “Democrats”, and “Socialist” find problematic.
They are so tied up in their anti-Americanism that they can’t see straight.
To them the simple statement of “Make America Great Again”, is abhorrent, and they view all who support our Republic as Deplorable, as their chief spokesperson once stated.
Just like showing a cross to Dracula. Of course, what can the poor Jews do?
They know that when President Trump decides to address us, millions upon millions tune in to hear what he has to say - and when he speaks, he almost always hits it out of the park...

Just as great, this will probably be one of the largest DC demonstrations in the last 20 years, probably, IMHO, in the neighborhood of 2,000,000 people. Be fun to see how the MSM broadcasts this.

Why they're freaking out is actually pretty revelatory - all it would take for them to make this non-partisan is for a single one of them to say "I love this country as it is, flaws and all." And not a single one of them will, or can. Trump owns the issue of patriotism because they've ceded it to him. Whose fault is that?
REMEMBER PDJT keeps forgetting to say ‘BAZINGA’ when making a statement.
Rudy G also ‘forgot’ to say ‘BAZINGA’ and they all had a conniption fit. (I can just hear the LIBs (in private) taking credit for ‘forcing’ Rudy to quit the trip)
But in all fairness, if they are crossing their fingers it cannot(or should not) be considered a ‘lie’.
I would ‘love’ to see PDJT start the day with some outlandish goal and sit back and laugh at the reaction.

What apparently started as an ‘inside’ joke which someone leaked got him to ‘confirm’ it when the Libs moaned & groaned.
I guess it really goes back to him ‘asking’ (the way the libs tell it) the Russians to give us HRCs ‘missing’ emails,......AFTER the LIBs had boldly and loudly announced that the dastardly Rooskis had hacked HRCs emails.
If he hasn’t already done it, I can see him being ‘overheard’ saying something when certain people are around and tracing the/a leak back....
But I do have a nagging feeling that maybe his SIL may be a source of leaks or even SILs wife?????

Maybe DJT can save a few bucks on the fireworks if HILLARY'S are still available ..... five cents on the dollar.
