Feeling optimistic, I went to the Bar Association in New York City to observe a case of a noncitizen immigrant who had voted, been caught and was being processed. Whatever Id naively expected, I was stunned at the bias of the 3 1/2 -hour presentation helmed by the Fordham Forum on Law & Culture, headed by Thane Rosenbaum, dean of Fordham Law School.
The evening was billed as a reenactment of a case involving a noncitizen Filipina who mistakenly voted in a congressional election. The issue was whether to exculpate the woman -- married to an American citizen, upstanding family, mother of two small children -- or to deport her.
The judge, a young Asian woman who breathed no-nonsense in the large hall, listened carefully to the two attorneys, one arguing according to the law on noncitizens being barred from voting, the other attempting to defend the attractive brunette 38-year-old mother, Elizabeth [Beth] Keithley. Her husband John, a shambling, burly man with a reddish brush mustache and would-be beard (could be dramatized by Seth Rogen, before his slim-down makeover) testified that he found a Christian woman, moral and responsible, in some tiny town in the Philippines (Nothing more than a gas station), and brought her to the U.S. on a K-1 fiancée visa.
Curly-haired Rosenbaum -- wire-rims lent a touch of Yoda -- took over once the staged trial of the noncitizen voter had taken place. I had once respected him for his prowess with prose and poetry, and his stand on never forgetting the Holocaust. Now I see him as a slightly indulgent essence of leftist bias; before, I thought him capable of representing a voice of reason, based on his position at Fordham Law.

I have been thinking a lot lately how our government is killing almost everything. Illegals get a pass or most crime as we don’t have enough jails and courts to process petty crime and they have no money when they have fines, just when there’s a party. Their whole life is paid for and they take cash for their work. We even have their language ballots for voting. Govt. is paying for part of their housing, their healthcare, EIC for kids not even theirs or here in USA, food, school, and more kids. Now, many citizens in their youth cannot even afford to have a baby as the taxes are too high and going up to where it smothers their lives. So in essence, we taxpayers are giving lots of our money which goes to killing a way of life that has worked beautifully for hundreds of years to now look more like the rest of the world, also very broken. And, the rule of law is for some, not others...the some, if you can pay the fines!!...and be a taxpayer. Living the Christian way of life is difficult and the ONLY way is to realize that after life is longer and I don’t want all the hell we have on earth forever!...Plus I love God above all things!
The judge took a brief recess. Moments later, I was gratified and frankly surprised when she ruled that the plaint offered to exculpate defendant for her illicit vote, Entrapment by estoppal, despite Beths acknowledgment that she wasnt a citizen, was unacceptable and not enough to prevent deportation. Accordingly, Beth was fined $500 and told she had to leave the country at her own expense in a month.

Minutes later, three new judges sat at the podium. Strangely, they reviewed the verdict and reversed the first judge: Defendant was entitled to review.

I was expecting an article about Candy Barr.
😎
Who?
To whom are you referring?
I am almost forced to post a pic of Miss Barr, but I am controlling myself this morning.
>>Illegals get a pass or most crime
Look into the term Anarcho-Tyranny. It has been going on a long time, at least several decades at this point.
Very confusing.
Marriage to an American citizen doesn’t make two American citizens automatically?
Now that is alarming but written all over our times...thank you for the education.
Not at all. The process is very difficult. Easier to just fly her to Tijuana and have her walk across like everybody else.
I think its because American men cant be trusted to pick foreign women who will vote Democrat.
