Democrats are pounding their chests in fake indignation that Barr lied in his summary of Mueller's report, but in all particulars, his summary tracked with the report, which Mueller affirmed. You can't quite make a case of contempt for lying when the witness told the truth.

Limbaugh like his brother is incorrect. The Dems are saying that Barr got two lettesr from Mueller (25 and 27 March) after he sent his letter to Congress on March 24. The 27th letter said there were some summaries in the 25th letter that Barr should release to the public. "There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation" meaning "we want to smear Trump and you didn't go along with that" Then Barr answered possibly related questions in the appropriations hearings in April.

From the fake news:

“No, I don’t,” Barr said, when asked by Rep. Charlie Crist (D-Fla.) whether he knew what was behind reports that members of Mueller’s team were frustrated by the attorney general’s summary of their top-level conclusions.

“I don’t know,” he said the next day, when asked by Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) whether Mueller supported his finding that there was not sufficient evidence to conclude that President Trump had obstructed justice.

With that, the dem/media says Barr is lying. To say the issue is only about Barr's public letter on March 24th is an oversimplification. The Dem/media claim is that Barr should have released the Mueller March 25th and 27th letters and summaries as the answer to the questions in the appropriations hearings, or acknowledged the existence of those. But Barr obviously can release whatever he wants from Mueller or not, his choice. Furthermore Barr specifically acknowledged there were other summaries and he didn't want to release those. Mainly, Barr has no need or requirement to speculate on the motives of Mueller's team who obviously sent the letters and leaked the March 27th letter to the media. Their motivation is probably that they hate Trump. But arr has no requirement to read their minds.

I seriously question your source, Palmer. CNN reported it that way but they had edited Barr's response. the full response below:

".. Crist, April 9: Reports have emerged recently … that members of the special counsel’s team are frustrated at some level with the limited information included in your March 24th letter, that it does not adequately or accurately, necessarily, portray the report’s findings. Do you know what they’re referencing with that?

Barr: No, I don’t. I think, I think, I suspect that they probably wanted, you know, more put out. But in my view, I was not interested in putting out summaries or trying to summarize, because I think any summary regardless of who prepares it not only runs the risk of, you know, being under-inclusive or over-inclusive but also, you know, would trigger a lot of discussion and analysis that really should await everything coming out at once."

And a couple weeks later he issued the full report less a few redactions suggested by DOJ only. Trump's WH did not ask for any redactions, even though they had the right to do so.

It's LameStreamMedia working with their DemonRat butt buddies pushing more lies.
