Trump had to get a solid SCOTUS first. Now he got Gorusch or whatever his name is, and Kavanaugh. NOW Trump can do this. It would have been a very bad idea to get this issue to SCOTUS without a majority of sane and decent justices who value the Constitution.
No no no. He should have simply ignored the ruling and not even bothered taking it to court. No sane person would think our law allows some activist judge to decide who can come in to this nation. Imagine what these kook judges could have done with this nonsense at the height of the cold war.
