I thought they outlawed knives too? No? Baseball bats? Long screwdrivers?
No media blackout. All the facts of this case were all over the media as soon as it happened. There were no trials, as all the perps were shot on the spot by the police. These formal inquests on the victims are being held now for the benefit of the victims’ families, for whom there was otherwise no formal means of recording what happened.
But the motive for the mayhem is still an unfathomable mystery.
