FR being on the wrong side of open borders didn’t help, did it?
No. Unfortunately, that issue wasn’t taken seriously by a lot of people. Even, for a time, I was indifferent to it. I even found myself taking the stance, “Well, the ones who want to come here to work, yada yada yada...” That changed when the “open borders” problem moved next door to me and spent 7 years reminding me daily that we had just about lost our country. :-(
