That's a pretty telling observation. It took the Left a very long time to bring their Long March Through The Institutions through the media but they've accomplished it, only to see the power it promised them slip through their fingers. The fight has left the mediots behind and the battleground is now the Internet, and they don't understand it, they don't have a clue.
I would offer this observation. This is a release for only 2019. At some point in the spring of 2020....I expect another round of staffers to go. They are downsizing their ‘brand’ enough, that a Chinese media company could easily walk in by the end of 2020....buy up CNN for a low-price, and shift it to a totally different news product.
Great meme, there.
They are downsizing their brand enough, that a Chinese media company could easily walk in by the end of 2020...

That’s a rosy scenario I’d like to see, but 2020 should be a banner year for CNN, what with 25-odd Dem candidates to fawn over. People are glued to the tube during election years.
I hope you’re right — CNN has lost some of its core followers thanks that Mueller big disappointment. We shall see.
It’s significant that AT&T is not reinvesting in CNN. They need to swim or sink on their own.
“I wouldnt consider it as much a brain drain as it will be a high colonic... .”
Damn! I just blew coffee over my keyboard! ROFLMAO!
You're going to find out what "real life" really is. And you won't be happy about it.
I am reminded of the AOL-Time-Warner period, when everyone felt this was the mega ‘brand’ that would boom in the future. I see CNN as being the new AOL...it can’t evolve into anything of value, and it’s viewers are marginally worth discussing.
Last one out picks up the bill.
Leftists f#$k up everything they touch.
“There’s no indication that the worst offenders — Chris Cuomo, Brian Stelter, Manu Raju, Don Lemon, and Jim Acosta — are going anywhere.”
If AT&T has anything to say about it, these are the people that should be shown the exit door.
CNN is on one of the channels at a place I go pretty regularly. I watch the crawl, and it’s just amazing - they really do live in their own sweet little world, oblivious to any facts or reality. No wonder they’re crashing, and not nearly soon enough.
“according to a CNN source, the cable network is not making layoffs, but “more than 100 staffers took part in a voluntary buyout program” .
Guys, I don’t know how to tell you this, but that is a lay-off.
They are the non-fiction staff who only collect facts. CNN has no use for them.
CNN = Cable News Network?
Shuld be, Cable democrat propaganda source.
The production values of CNN was what keeps them going. One of the best in the business.
I was traveling through Dallas airport last year and CNN was showing different shows —doubtless thanks to local pressure.
But I was surprised how good the shows actually were — mini-documentaries and human interest stuff, travel.
So it’s ultimately a change of direction, I think.
If not for carriage fees, CNN would have gone toes up long ago.
“No fan of dinosaur media in general of Commie Newz Netwerk
specifically......but...it sucks to be pink slipped in your fifies”.
Speaking from experience.”
That part of the article struck me too. Many older workers....very very hard when older than 50 to get new work. Try over 60 as in my case. There are no jobs out there. Final financial plans blown out of the water with no real recovery available.
The start of the big flush, and 300 are circling the drain. It’s a start!
Not tired of winning...
There, fixed it.
I can’t believe they have been operating all this time without government money being funneled to them somehow since they are a CIA operation that no one watches except for extreme nut jobs.
