Hotel taxes and fees are like a Tarriff on visiting non-locals.
My pet peeve is the “resort fee” that is being tacked onto bills particularly by Las Vegas Hotel/Casinos. CircusCircus, a relatively inexpensive facility (part of the MGM Hegemony)has room rates as low as $24 but with a $32 resort fee added.
