Hey there, Spartacus, I saw what you said and have something to say in return: the Constitution specifically says that, “...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” How does that square, logically or legally, with forcing us to get (and, of course, pay for) a license to exercise those rights? You know the answer, we know that you know it.

Additionally, we know WHY you’re proposing this kind of a law - to register every gun owner, and their guns, and to gradually make it so expensive to own guns that most won’t...and that’s actually your goal, isn’t it? To either make it too burdensome to own guns...or, in the final analysis, to seize guns from ordinary citizens.

So much for “shall not be infringed” under a Democrat. ANY Democrat.

They are quietly changing the legal definition of the word “Shall” to the word “May” which is less of an imperative and more permissive.
