No, but we can sure talk about voter ID. Not a national voter ID, current state IDs will work just fine.

It is down right scary that some of these people actually get elected to public office.

It’s cute that they think anyone is going to comply with their dictats. They don’t believe in the rule of law, they don’t believe in equality under the law, or any other bedrock principle.

Cory Booker is an ignorant asshat. He’s probably never heard of Haynes vs United States.

Because of Haynes vs United States, his national license proposal, even if passed, will never apply to convicted felons who are not legally permitted to own a firearm. Only people who are legally permitted to own firearms can ever be prosecuted under such a licensing scheme.
