Oh, I suppose you are right, but I did not want to see that at the time. By FR standards I was behind the curve on Mitt. I never much liked him, but I thought he was basically a decent, boring guy. I voted for him with no hesitation. I though he was a better candidate for POTUS than McCain. Now he seems to have turned into McCain.

There should be a law if a member of Congress runs for another office they should resign from Congress...but without an amendment that will never happen. Thay will continue to do that at taxpayer expense. Maybe in 2024 everyone in Congress will run for President.
