This is a country still very much into treating their royalty like a King. I saw a photo of the new king seated on a chair covered in gold colored fabric. In front of him were perhaps six or seven military officers in their dress whites, all crawling on the floor in front of their king.

A young woman was also there, dressed in a peach colored gown, she too lay on the floor with her head up, eyes fixed on the king. I believe this the logic behind what I was seeing.

Buckingham Palace would not dare to ask their visitors to approach the Queen on their hands and knees!

A three hour procession? Man that king has some durability to sit in that chair that long without getting nauseous.

Amazing stupidity to show the slightest deference or respect to a monarch.

The previous King was born in Cambridge MA.

Some people think he was eligible to be President of the USA because of that.

King Bhumipol’s military strongman was Thanom Kittikachorn.

When my girlfriend acquired a Siamese cat, I suggested she name it Kitty Kachorn but she failed to see the humor.

Isn’t that the jazz musician/composer who made a tour of the US, with a lot of exposure in the African-American community with other jazz musicians and clubs near the time that Barry was conceived? There is a theory that he is actually Barry’s dad, with the CIA taking on seeing that his child got a decent upbringing that included placement for care with Barry’s supposed mother.
