Second year in a row here in western NC that the farmers are getting screwed on timely spring planting due to ridiculous rainfall totals.
It’s been bad here for that, too.
Normally, late February has them out prepping the fields but not anymore.
Whatever they plant will just wash away.
We’re under yet another severe storm watch for *days*, again.
I did see that someone managed a first cutting of alfalfa the other day.
Sure hope they get it in before it rains on it.
