You are absolutely right. Meadows, Jordan and Nunes called the democrat hit job what it was from the beginning, a coup. Other than those three guys the entire pubbie contingent in Washington, including Trump’s cabinet, sat back watching and waiting. Most on “our side” assumed the democrats and stooge media would get away with it and they would pick up the pieces after the president was convicted. I find their actions even more despicable than those of the coup plotters.
Worse than that, they cooperated in the violation of the Constitution that was the Kenyanesian Usurpation that led to myriad crimes, not just the ones at the very end of that usurpation involving trying to rig the election for Hillary.
