It doesn't matter. All that matters is that homos have achieved yet another level of seeming legitimacy by sharing the same dais as other top democratic contenders. That can't be undone.
It was the same with the Southern Baptist Convention, who met with Convention leaders several years ago about modifying the denomination's stance on homosexuality. Of course the church group wasn't going to budge; the sodomites didn't expect them to. The goal was to gain an audience with the top Church leaders. They got it.
