BOOM!
SEN. RICHARD BLUMENTHAL (D-CT): Did anyone, either you or anyone on your staff, memorialize your conversation with Robert Mueller?
BILL BARR, ATTORNEY GENERAL: Yes.
BLUMENTHAL: Who did that?
BARR: There were notes taken of the call.
BLUMENTHAL: May we have those notes?
BARR: No.
BLUMENTHAL: Why not?
BARR: Why should you have them?
SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM (R-SC), CHAIRMAN: I’ll tell you. We’ve got to end this. But I’m going to write a letter to Mr. Mueller, and I’m going to ask him, is there anything you said about that conversation he disagrees with.
Yesterday at the hearing it was hilarious when AG Barr said that to DaNang Dick, he knew he’d been had.
I posted here yesterday about this line of questioning. That Barr’s notes will say one thing and now that Mueller knows they are going to ask him about the conversation he is going to say something totally different and will write up something different. Thus saying Barr lied.
The other thing Barr and Rosenstein asked Mueller if he wanted to review the 4 page summary. He declined. He did this on purpose as they had planned their next step for Mueller to send a letter saying he had an issue with it. Then get Barr to testify about it.
