Why did he pick a location where guns were not allowed? That makes no sense whatsoever. He had to know he was breaking the law.

Trystan Andrew Terrell has been identified as the suspect in the shooting (UNCC)
He studied history at UNCC and was a 22-year-old history major. He dropped out from UNCC this semester. Upon his capture, Terrell appeared to slightly grin and “shouted” something that reporters could not make out.
