Many here profess to believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

But then they want to pick and choose which parts they like and which parts they don't like, and which therefore can't possibly be true.

But where to draw the line is never quite clear.

The fact that something happened in the Old Testament - as recorded inerrantly - doesn’t justify it today. There was slavery in the Old Testament. Joshua has slaves (the Gibeonites) You ok with slavery today?

I would hope Christians would draw the line between the Old and New Testament,and stick with the New Testament for their marching orders, and leave the Old Testament to the Jews. - Tom
