The body of a crucified criminal was put on public display in Saudi Arabia after the execution of 37 nationals in one day, according to local media reports.
State-run media carried statements on Tuesday to say those executed had adopted extremist ideologies and formed terrorist cells with the aim of spreading chaos and provoking sectarian strife.
Saudi authorities said that one person was crucified after his execution, with the Middle East Eye reporting that the body was then publicly displayed.
The U.N. human rights chief condemned the beheadings, saying most were minority Shi'ite Muslims who may not have had fair trials and at least three were minors when sentenced.

The U.N. human rights chief...
...had an earlier job, that of the chef at a vegetarian sushi place.
The religion of peace.
The 1400 yr old saga of muslims killing muslims. Maybe we could offer the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders halftime show for executions of 100 or more.
The guy crucified after being beheaded was apparently a “Sunni militant”, which is probably a way of saying ISIS or al Qaeda. This follows a failed ISIS attack on a Saudi government building a week ago:

Make no mistake about it. The Sunnis are killing Shi’ites only because there are no infidels handy.
Stone Age
Beheadings would be fitting for the main conspirators of the attempted Trump coup.
Nothing wrong with that...if they got their due process.
I doubt that the Saudi justice system is that “just” - but as to the form of execution, it does not seem anymore barbaric than our electric chair or a firing squad (still an option in Utah). Our giving them a sleeping pill and poison would seem the best way to go, but even that has problems.
Beheading with the sword may give the person some status in their religion as well? (Like the Vikings dying in battle believed they got to Valhalla automatically, or the Mormons and the firing squad.)
The display of their headless bodies is pretty bad - but I suppose it might serve as a deterrent. And it’s not like the deceased is going to care.
The Wahabbi Saudis consider Shias infidels. They posted the beheadings online..in case you enjoy seeing a minor executed for sending a message on What'sApp.
crucifixion is a nice touch, real civilized
No. It's the religion of PIECES. It sounds stupid and Bushy when you say it that way. :-)
It might happen.
Rick Perry worked hard to bring more Muslims to Texas, and granted Sharia courts to the Mosques here.
An eventuality where one of the wealthy Saudis comes here and buys the Dallas Kneelers could very well happen.
There is no due process in Arabia or Islam. Confessions signed in blood are valid.
Guy needed a 2 swing windup.
Lets start in Joshua 10:23-26
23 And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.
24 And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.
25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.
26 And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
Some translations say he hung them on posts, and some on poles. But there is very little doubt that Joshua beheaded the five kings and then hung up the bodies, just as the Saudis have done. The real difference is that Joshua did it to five of them.
Did the first 36 not do the job on him?
So lets have no criticism of Islamic justice, is that your point
