Not a big fan of JB the Hutt, who is determined to dig Illinois’ grave faster, but looks to me like he took advantage of a loophole. At most, he will face a penalty that at most will amount to a few minutes of interest on his holdings. What a fool for not paying what amounted to chump change for him in the first place.

He didn’t last very long without a scandal; hard to say if the pols are getting dumber or the citizens are getting smarter.

“but looks to me like he took advantage of a loophole.”

Unless of course he knew he was filing fraudulent documents and sending them through the US mail.

“But records show the Pritzkers submitted false affidavits that there were no working toilets from 2012 to 2015 in one of the mansions. That was false — the toilets were removed in 2015.”

The defense will say that he didn’t see it himself but that’s what he was told...didn’t INTEND to do anything illegal...where have I heard that before?

Submitting false affidavits is more than exploiting a loophole. It is criminal perjury.
