Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke called for the establishment of farm-to-table restaurants in every community to combat poor nutrition.
Farm-to-table restaurants are part of a socially-conscious movement favored by wealthy urbanites that often feature small, elaborately designed fare from local farms and are typically very expensive.
The Democratic presidential candidate made the gaffe at a Friday event hosted at a brewery by the Nevada State Democratic Party in Henderson, a Las Vegas suburb.

Bobby O’Rourke has no idea what a farm to restaurant operation is, but we have plenty of them here in Cow Town (Kansas City). Number one requirement: farms. Once you find some of them within reasonable different, you just need some enterprising farmers and chefs and folks will show up for great grub at a good price.
There are no farms, per se, in El Paso, but they have some great steak places with the meat from local ranches.

Go to a Bob Evans restaurant. Great biscuits, more mashed potatoes than the Devil’s Butte in Close Encounters, inadequate side dishes and not so great main courses. But there’s a farm on the menu!
