NY Times Columnist Tom Friedman Goes 'Full Fascist'? Says High Border Wall Needed

Did New York Times columnist Tom Friedman have a true epiphany resulting in a "flying pigs" moment when, after going on a tour of the border, he declared that a high wall as President Donald Trump has wanted is needed? Well, not exactly. His call for a high border wall probably comes more from desperate political expediency since Friedman has a history of extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome. He knows that the basically open borders position by the Democrats will be political suicide for that party in 2020 resulting in Trump's sure re-election. Therefore take his recent support of a high border wall with a grain of salt.

Friedman urged the construction of a high border wall in both his column as well as during The Situation Room interview with Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday.

TDS Friedman went into a panic mode when he realized that the Democrats politically suicidal position on no funding for border walls would guarantee Trump's re-election. Unfortunately for him, the Democrat 2020 candidates are too clueless to realize this. Right, Beto?

Well if so, he’ll go back to sleep again as soon as he finds out he wasn’t invited to one of the cool kids parties because of what he said.

Ruling Class membership is for life,that’s why you never hear of any of them defecting saying they’ve finally seen the light.

Trump came from a wealthy family but he was brought up to think of himself as a builder from Queens and he brought his kids up the same way. Proof that humility will get you a lot further in life that hubris.

This elitist liberal, Tom Friedman, must be seeing how focus groups of voters outside of NYCity, Boston, DC, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Gay Frisco and LAraza are supporting President Trump, now and will be in 2020!

While pushing the button on the TV remote during a commercial I landed briefly on some surgically over enhanced woman’s show were she was saying that she could “not come down on one side of the issue (whatever it was) because either way “people” would hate me, and besides I would not get invited to their wonderful parties.”

Friedman continued. "If he were to sit down, call Nancy Pelosi up, say, ‘We’re going up to Camp David. You bring your immigration team, I’ll bring mine. I’ll leave Stephen Miller at home, and we will actually sort out a compromise here.' ... Democrats were ready to fund more border security, but at the same time we’re going to create a legal pathway for people here, limits the number of ICE arrests and we’re going to have a rational inflow of people."

We don't need "more border security", we need the fully funded Border Wall/Fence.

There is already a legal pathway for people here to become citizens, go back to their mother country and follow our process to come here legally!

WE don't need to limit the number of ICE arrests, that cannot artificially be done anyway. Ice Agents cannot be ordered to stop doing their jobs because they have reached a quota.

We need to end the "Anchor Baby" policy and follow the intent of the 14th Amendment - Section 1. If Congress intended for every child born in the USA to be a citizen, The Fourteenth Amendment would have stated that children born in the United States become American citizens at birth.

14th Amendment - Section 1 actually proclaims:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

Note: it says born or naturalized. Naturalization is the process that a subject of a foreign country must follow to become a naturalized citizen. The 14th Amendment was clearly not written to allow an illegal immigrant to drop-kick a child over the border for a touchdown.

It’s so rare, the last one I know of was Roman senator Tiberius Gracchus. And for his trouble, he got stabbed to death by other Senators. Ten years later, his brother tried to enact similar peasant-friendly legislation and the conservatives stabbed him to death, too.

The term Gracchite was coined and passed down, as someone who makes considerable use of the family fortune to attack or undermine the system in which his family prospered.

Recent recipients of the Gracchite descriptor are FDR, the Kennedys, the Bush Family, Bill Gates, George Clooney, Brad Pitt.

Someone point out to me that in modern times, the first generation (grandpa) is the one who comes from “the old country” with no more than “the shirt on his back” and “a dollar in his pocket” and builds the family fortune. The second generation was raised in the same way and carries on til he’s ready to turn it over to the grandson, who has become a spoiled brat liberal do-gooder who squanders the family fortune and ends up burning it all down.

So maybe a little preemptive Gracchite-ism wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Perhaps the SocDems plan to neutralize the issue by en mass “backing” now the border wall and all saying that now there is a need for it followed by lots of studies and committee investigations while they all say they are for the wall but no money gets voted and no new measures. Okay middle Americans it is safe to vote for the Democrat now.

AND Friedman knows at some point this mess will devolve into war with Mexico - and that war will be blamed on democrats and their vile resistance to protecting our borders.
