Not against the idea but once you executed the spy its hard to get any more information out of them! Like is she part of a network? Do you really know what she has turned over to the Chinese? Again if she’s dead you’ll never know the extent of the loss. Then there’s the whole bargaining chip thing for assets we have lost to the Chinese. Though the Chinese tend not to keep them around.
