Has someone actually found out for sure what was being handed out then? Were the counter-offer cards? If so, what was the context — the “offer”? That sure was weird, and I never heard much about it afterward.
You’re the one sticking up for Pence based on personal feelings. What evidence do you have for your feelings about him?
Uh, I am commenting on a public, not private event; impossible to bear false witness to something everyone in the world witnessed. Please refrain from mixing weird religious metaphors with what everyone saw Pence not doing on Billy Bush Family weekend. He hesitated, he long-paused, over Paul Ryan’s insane coup attempt over the Trump campaign that weekend.

At the time I agreed with you, but there was so much flying around Trump.
When you think back, at the time who could he trust?
You had everyday info leaked to the press.
Priebus was piss poor...and the guy handling the press.
We all thought that T-Rex would be a great SOS, and he was at first, maybe the right one at first, but he proved disloyal.
Then the Flynn thing.
We now know that behind the scenes there was a general take down brewing.
IT’S STILL AMAZING, ACTUALLY TERRIFYING TO THINK THAT TRUMP WAS ON THE BRINK OF BEING OUSTED BY A COUP.
What really happened? I would like to think that people like Pence, Admiral Rogers, and others stepped forth and saved the presidency.
Let’s face it, he had no friends at first...none. All of them, starting with Ryan and Graham threatened him if he fired Sessions.
Fact is, Sessions put in his resignation after the SC was announced, to his chagrin.
My Friend, we’re totally on the same page. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but I shudder to think Pence was disloyal.
Now it’s time to see the heads roll.
I PREDICT THAT ONCE YOU GET ONE OR TWO OF THESE PEOPLE ARRESTED, AND A COUPLE WINS IN TRUMPS POCKET, THEY WILL SING LIKE SONG BIRDS TO AVOID JAIL, AND EVENTUALLY THEY WILL ALL TURN ON THEMSELVES.
I fully expect them to implicate Obama. By 2020, the election will be a landslide.
Important to pray for his safety. Only way to take him out, is to take him out. If can come from within just as easy as from without.
