Very stylized version of men and very stylized version of kissing.

Could be a man and a woman, or just one person with a cleft palate or something.

And if it's two men, what's there for the lesbians?

I believe it can be two women as well.
I knew a girl with a chin like that.

I could be one head in a cubist rendition.

My observation was similar. I wonder if it was done on purpose in case it backfires, then they can call it something else, or in case fagotry goes out of style and they can write history to show it’s a guy and a gal. Another possibility since it’s not real obvious it’s to homos, it will not be as revolting to the straight majority of voters in Canada.

The reverse image by Canadian artist Joe Average is a celebration of community, equality and inclusion. The intertwined stylization invites a personal interpretation of the design, viewed through the lens of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics. The facial traits reflect gender fluidity and the spectrum of gender expression; they may belong to two individuals, or they may represent different aspects of one’s identity.

(from the website - not my description. lol)
