This sole incident brings into sharp focus the ludicrous premise, the incredible theoretical stretch, that somehow North Korea under the Kim Regime and the current Workers Party will denuclearize and do so sincerely. To denuclearize to our and the world's satisfaction, there must be transparency, for nothing can be taken for granted nor trusted. NOTHING. Transparency means extreme openness.

With a regime with their leader abroad, agents and aides who "make sure to collect Kim's bodily waste and even his cigarette butts to prevent foreign intelligence agencies from collecting and analyzing them for clues into the leader's health." it answers in a nutshell whether they will denuclearize or not, or come clean on all that they have.
