There was a time when a confident, Christian West understood the threat and challenge. It appreciated the significance of the Battles of Lepanto, Malta and Vienna.It understood that if those battles had been lost, its civilization would have ended. Sadly the West has rotted from within. No longer does it have a foundation of Christian virtue and ideals. It has rotted into secular decadence and hedonism. It has not only forgotten history but it has become susceptible to fanatic, lunatic invaders who make no secret of their intent. Today the West resembles the final stages of Rome. So decadent that its population did not even procreate. When a civilization reaches that point, it ends. It is replaced by whoever has the verve and confidence to replace the decadent remnants of what one was.
