The Census issue seems to be the new rallying cry for Liberals. My cousin, who is a Left-wing nut-case, has been posting about this on Facebook...and all his friends chime in to agree (sort of astroturfing).

His argument is that if they don't count the illegals, federal funding will be reduced, which will hurt both poor citizens and illegals who depend on government funding...

This most certainly would have the effect of placing the Democratic Party on the horns of a dilemma if we can get it on the Census, wouldn’t it?

If the question is put on the Census, illegals only have two choices:

  1. One horn is to toss it in the trash and decrease the representation.

  2. The other horn is to out themselves and be on the record as illegals.
In either of the cases above, the conservative side wins. Of course, any time you are faced with the horns of a dilemma, you usually do have three choices: take one horn, take the other horn, or try to ride it out between the horns.

Obviously, they will opt for the third choice, which is keeping it off the form, or something else, haven’t thought it through yet.
