This is a remarkable address by Victor Davis Hanson on the Trump Presidency and his thoughts on what happened since 2008 and what he thinks will happen between now and 2020.
It is about 45 min long, I will post some pointed links, because there are some beauties in this address!

VDH could read out of the LA phone book and I’d pay to hear it.

I'm almost half way through the video and it is the best 20 minutes I have spent for many moons.
Thx one hell of a lot for posting this.

Marking. I’m reading the book now. While it is not a page turner it is a good read.

You should also enjoy this recent VDH interview then. So few great thinkers, and Victor is a giant among intellects.

I have been a regular reader of VDH for at least 7 years and have always valued his ability to frame an issue in historical context.
Many Freeper Trumpists back in 2015 were ready to burn him at the stake over his article below.

VDH is basically the next Thomas Sowell - in other words, he’s picking up the torch as the Brainpower of Conservatives.

It is good to see VDH give a speech after he has had enough sleep. He works extremely hard, and sometimes the toll shows.

Of course. I was directly quoting the source in the title, as is accepted practice on FR, right?
If you don’t do that, you have the potential for duplicate threads because people don’t find it in a title search...:) (That is, after all, a problem on FR)
If you read my posts, you know there is no disrespect there.

I just purchased it...currently listening to “Grateful American” by Gary Sinise (which he reads...excellent so far)
“The Case For Trump” is on deck right now, looking forward to it.

First time I have ever listened to and watched him, though I have read a boatload of his work.
I am EXTREMELY impressed. The guy has calm gravitas...

As you can see from my FreepPage which has remained nearly unchanged since I started here on FR, Thomas Sowell is one of my heroes. I have heard he can be a bit crusty and rude if you meet him in person, but I don’t care. It is his content that counts.
For the last five years or so, I think Bill Whittle has been doing a lot of the best framing of issues on the right and haven’t paid as close attention to Hanson as I should have...I plan to remedy that shortcoming now.

I love his style...he delivers in a somewhat dry, unadorned way, but OMG, what he says, and the way he says it bites like a Great White Shark into the the asses of the Left!
