Makes sense. Clear night they'll be outside looking at the stars. Cloudy nights they'll be inside on the computer.

He bought some high-end oculars and lets me come by for a look, on the good nights.
Not at all. "Cloudy Nights" is where they hang out on cloudy nights. On clear nights they're out with their telescopes, observing.
