Union thuggery at it's finest. As someone who had to drive past a S&S picket line to get to anther store and was told to "keep F*^%ing driving, don't even think about it, stores closed to stop corporate greed" I can totally see this happening. They were also nice enough to harass elderly people who due to mobility issues had no choice to cross for food or prescriptions.

I worked for Stop n Shop and was in the UFCW . As a union they are awful... they take dues from bagboys...The former secratary ended up being the Local out of Rhode Islands President ,...none of them are elected it is a true circle jerk that pays themselves handsomely and they could care less about the members. Personally I never thought that service sector needed a union Trades and other Jobs that take skills are and are extremely dangerous (miners etc...) need representation. The UFCW are nothing more than a democratic slush fund provider ...very shady people,.
