I can’t remember the other team. That was the year the Flyers beat the Bruins for the Cup. I was also in attendance that year when Dave Schultz scored a hat trick. And we lived 4.6 hours from Philly by car. Lucky to have ever seen a game in person. Always sold out.
The best was when the Flyers beat the Soviet Red Army team.
The Soviets left the ice because they were upset at the Flyers’ rough play, the entire crowd starting chanting “They’re Going Home!”
