his "protest" did not change the mother's mind, and probably hardened her pro-abort stance.

And he is to be blamed for that? His compassionate attempt to persuade her to not go thru with this at first brought tears to her eyes, but she hardened her liberal lying heart. Likewise did many souls responded to the mercy and grace of Christ, who is not be blamed for their reaction, and instead made their damnation worse.

But for liberal so-called "Christians" the test of what is Christ-like is whether one gets rejected or not. Those who do are rejected by them. As they are by Christ.

It seems obvious to me that abandoning the mother in the middle of the trip

Which a fallacious charge, as has been documented. ("My Uber driver waited 10 feet away, probably expecting me to go back to Ithaca with him. After about 15 minutes, he asked me once more if I wanted him to drive me back. Firmly, I said no thank you. He drove away, and about 15 minutes later a cab came.”) Why did you believe and parrot this abandonment charge?

If you want to change someone's mind, you start by forming a personal connection and finding things to agree about, not by behaving like an uncaring jerk.

And just where do you also get this lying description? Go you read my post 66? "Behaving like an uncaring jerk" by seeking to persuade her not to go thru with her murderous plan? “I know it’s none of my business, but you’re going to regret this for the rest of your life,..There’s so much they don’t tell you. You’re making a mistake.” Knowing you are driving one to an abortion clinic means you do not have time to form a relationship with someone in the back seat. If anything, he could have said at the first that he would not take her there, rather than take time to try to persuade her and let her think about it.

I don't think of the driver as any kind of hero.

Rather if any one is then it is he, while you are like a coach potato damning one who heroically tried to save a human life and her from grief.

While he was doing that, he also created bad PR for pro-lifers, and lost his job.

More elitist delusion. So you likely think that Jack Phillips was also wrong for refusing to be complicit in celebrating an unlawful wedding?

Doing things the driver’s way failed to save the fetus. I don’t see anything to celebrate about that failure.
