I voted for BB for governor in 2010. The story then was that he was in the clutches of the AEA. That's enough for me to look elsewhere in 2020.

Regarding Twinkle Cavanaugh - going from state Public Service Commissioner to U.S. Senator seems a mighty big jump. I'll wait and see.

Roy Moore is past his sell-by date.

Tommy Tuberville's Wiki bio says that his campaign will be assisted by former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. He's 64 with no prior political office service. Yeah, I know, and neither did POTUS #45 DJT. Still, I will wait and see ...

Turned out both Bentley & Byrne were embarrassments.

Cavanaugh would be Lt Governor today had there not been a primary runoff as she placed 1st in the primary. She’s already won statewide twice, so that’s a net positive in her favor. I think she could easily take down Jones, and has no baggage (not that the media wouldn’t make something up, of course, as they did with Moore). DC needs more female Conservatives.
