I would have thought just the opposite: That the “moderate” Muslim in the West would tend to hide his true feelings. Like if you asked a racist if he’s a racist...he’d probably say no.

Anyhow, I hope I’m wrong. Because if I’m right there’s trouble ahead.

I was thinking of the question being asked in a Muslim country not a western country. I would like to hope that the extreme view would not be held by most Muslims in the west. Like you, if the extreme view is common amongst them, then there is trouble ahead.
