Pierce Bush, a grandson and nephew of presidents, announced Wednesday he is considering running for a Texas seat held by Republicans for decades until last year.
Bush, 38, is eyeing the Lone Star State's 7th Congressional District, in the Houston suburbs. His grandfather George H.W. Bush, represented a version of the district from 1967 to 1971. The former congressman, CIA director and vice president, a Republican, became president for one four-year term in 1989.
Bush, CEO of Houston-based Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, is the son of Neil Bush, 64, who is the brother of former President George W. Bush, 72, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, 66.

I fully agree the last name of Bush means nothing if we know nothing about this guy.
But we do know something about this guy. In case you missed it, he’s related to the swampster RINO Bush dynasty. The only difference between this bunch than the Clinton tribe is when the Bush people screw the country, it’s with compassion.
It’s not uncommon for WASP blue blood families to give their children’s first name being from another family name, i.e., Barbara Bush, (GHWB wife), her maiden name was Pierce. His great grandfather’s first name was Prescott, who names their kid Prescott?

There is zero chance he will be any different. And there is zero reason to take the risk.
Just because you don’t know anything doesn’t mean others don’t. He doesn’t like Trump’s tone, rarely will say Trump’s name even though he supposedly endorsed him, uses word games on the border, loves NAFTA, doesn’t think Trump shouldn’t be primaried “right now”, was absent from his land commissioner job, etc.
Still makes him sound like a wimp though, which is probably why he needs to run for Congress.

Sounds about right. He used family connections to get an important-sounding, altruistic-sounding job where he isn't going to be held accountable but which he can use as a springboard to a political career. Now its time to go into the real family business - politics. The Bushes are as bad as the Clintons, only the Bushes have been around longer so they know how to hide their grubbiness and power-hungry office-seeking under the veneer of "noblesse oblige."
