Tell that to the northern half of the state (and the election thieves in Las Cruces) Last election Otero County voted ~60% Republican 30% Democrat & 10% other.
According to this (Center for Immigration Studies) site, NM IS a sanctuary state...

So are all of your county jails. Per link.
I believe that is incorrect. The bill (NM HB 116) that would have made it so died when the session ended; it was not passed in the House, Never went to the Senate nor signed into law (although it would have been if it made it to the Governors Desk. We have two, maybe three ‘de facto’ Sanctuary cities. Most of our counties and sheriffs are are conservative, and in open defiance of Governorlissimo Lujan and her minions.
Cedar Dave: Do you have any corrections or additions to the above? You are on top of this more than I am. (thanks)
I remember seeing this list, within the past couple of weeks.
They very well could have their information wrong, although they tend to be a reliable resource.
Thanks.
I found this....again, not sure if correct....
.....State of New Mexico declared a Sanctuary State in 1986 by former Governor Toney Anaya
Declared NOT a Sanctuary State in 2011 by Governor Martinez, however, still issues drivers licenses to illegals....
https://www.sanctuarycities.info/sanctuary_state_new_mexico.htm
Bill Richardson (who IS essentially a Mexican Anchor Baby, except his mother hates the USA and didn't want to live here)) is the one who was open borders, and who let illegals vote (through Motor Voter ) and yes, Illegals still get to vote because they do still get licenses in NM. Martinez did try to stop it, but only half heartedly, and even if she had been able to stop it, the new regime would have started it back up.
Apparently, the majority of voters in new mexico love LIBs and LIB ideas. What incredible gullible losers. I guess they deserve what they get.
LHI,
Keep pinging the list for me on these stories. I’ve been out in the field working this past week and will continue next week. Long hours and too beat to do much after I get to a hotel.
OK.
Try to now work TOO hard.
