“Is this really the best y’all have to offer?? “
Right on, AC! It’s time for the people who look for a Bible hanging out of a candidate’s back pocket be given a back seat to someone who is a decent candidate. A candidate’s religious preferences should not be the litmus test for the voters. Moore is a kook, who has, as Chief Justice of the AL Supreme Court, been removed for cause twice. He does not belong as Alabama’s Senator. It’s crucial to the Trump Agenda to have someone other than Moore running against Jones.
“who has, as Chief Justice of the AL Supreme Court, been removed for cause twice”
Yes, removed for standing up for the beliefs of Alabama citizens (the ten commandments and gay marriage)against our tyrannical federal government. And then reelected. God forbid we should have a conservative who will fight for his (and our) beliefs. Maybe we need more of him, not less.
Bullsh*t. He was removed by cowardly bitches on the Alabama supreme court because he had guts enough to tell arrogant dictatorial Federal Judges to go F*** themselves!
Moore is the only one in that sorry episode that demonstrated any class or bravery. The other judges aren't worth spit. They are good little toadies for the out of control Federal tyrants on the bench.
But you aren't explaining it properly. You are presenting this claim from the standpoint that the other coward judges in Alabama are right.
Well they aren't, and neither are you. Moore is correct on the law, and the Federal Judge @$$hole is absolutely wrong.
“A candidates religious preferences should not be the litmus test for the voters. Moore is a kook, who has, as Chief Justice of the AL Supreme Court, been removed for cause twice. He does not belong as Alabamas Senator.”
He was removed for unlawful and unconstitutional reasons.
And the people of Alabama repeatedly sent him back into office in order to send a message to the tyrants who are pushing the anti-Christian, anti-family agenda on America.
This nation was founded on a non-sectarian faith in the God of the Bible.
The founders strategically brought together various sects and factions of Judeo-Christianity to form a national pact to defend one another and our God-given rights (the first being the freedom of religion) even while we may disagree on the particular details and implementation of our religious duties.
Those who would surrender our first liberty do not deserve the ones that follow.
The GOPe needs to butt out, and Republican politicians should state if they disagree with Moore but always add that it is up to those in Alabama to decide who they want to represent them.
The GOPe wants to make the party a big tent that welcomes everyone, except religious conservatives. They want our vote, but they refuse to represent our interests.
