We have a changed world-wide context.
Look at the EU. Even 2-3 years ago, who thought there would be a rise of populist administrations throughout Europe?
Brazil elected an anti-globalist, anti-PC crusader.
In the US, the prog punks went a step too far by criminalizing males, regardless of color. Many black men (and some sane black women)are repulsed by this. Hispanic men (and, again, the sane Hispanic women)are not accepting of marginalization based on gender. Jewish men have to be reconsidering their allegiances, considering all the outright antisemitism spewing from the Left.
As a Jewish woman, I have to withhold speculation on other Jewish women. I suspect they will be among the last to surrender.
And, at the very tippy-top of all of this real resistance, is Donald J. Trump, POTUS. He isn’t about to let this go. Neither are his sons. (Probably Ivanka is also out for blood, but it’s not her style to tweet about revenge. She, Melania and the wives of Jr and Eric are backing their menfolk. They’ve all been through hell.)
Look at the Department/Agency rules changes recently: no subsidized housing for illegals (and Ben Carson is not withdrawing from consideration for the Fed post) ; dump them on the sanctuary cities; cut aid to the countries sending the most illegals; no new trannies in the armed forces; no automatic free-range admission under *asylum*.
Potus, Barr, a raft of new judges at all levels, the pathetic reaction of the professional left; the scary behavior coming from the female Islamist, Palestinian and Commie in the House...the context has changed.
Most of all: the protectors of the Deep State are suddenly having to fight on multiple fronts at once. The media/entertainment complex has lost credibility, as has Big Tech. First-tier academia is exposed as pay-to-play. The curtain has been pulled back and the Great and Terrible Oz is just a bald, pot-bellied little man in a cabinet full of levers, unable to reach them all.
It’s a lovely spring morning in America.
