Time Magazine has released its annual 100 most influential people and Palo Alto professor Christine Blasey Ford, as well Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who she accused of sexual assault when they were in school, are among those on the list.

California Senator and democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris honored Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as an "icon" in a few paragraphs, saying that Ford's story "shook Washington and the country." On the other hand, Kavanaugh was honored by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell.
"Her courage, in the face of those who wished to silence her, galvanized Americans. And her unfathomable sacrifice, out of a sense of civic duty, shined a spotlight on the way we treat survivors of sexual violence," Harris wrote.

One of the many unresolved issues that are awaiting resolution is the necessary prosecution of Blasey-Ford and ALL her co-conspirators.

Ugh, that sends chills up my spine. Does anyone here think she is a pretty woman? I think she’s a very attractive woman, but her history with that “thing” tells me everything I’ll ever need to know about her. What does that say about someone? That they would lay with dogs to get ahead?

This is political correctness, which IMHO is caused by allowing the Democrats to have the right not only to their own opinions but to their own facts.And Democrats are entitled to their own facts because:
Journalists are, the theory goes, immune from libel suits because of the First Amendment, as interpreted by SCOTUS in its unanimous 1964 New York Times v. Sullivan decision. IMHO Republicans must sue anyway, arguing that item 1 is due to “a conspiracy against the public” (Adam Smith) due to the incentives and opportunities journalism faces - and the fact that journalism is inherently negative yet claims objectivity (a claim which only could be made by a cynic).
- journalism is ideologically uniformly Democrat and,
- journalists have no fear of libel lawsuits by Justice Kavanaugh or any other Republican official (they don’t fear lawsuits by Democrats for the simple reason that they never libel Democrats).
