I don’t think so. This is pretty positive PR for anyone donating. Forgetting that the Church represents just that, a Church; it is also an iconic landmark, part of world history and architectural wonder. It’s a win win for Apple.

If the funds are used to rebuild Notre Dame as a mosque, it might ease the pain for certain of these “contributors”.
The Hagia Sophia in Instanbul was once a Christian church too.
