'Moore attended West Point and served as a company commander in the Military Police Corps during the Vietnam War. After graduating from the University of Alabama Law School, he joined the Etowah County district attorney's office, serving as an assistant district attorney from 1977 to 1982. In 1992 he was appointed as a circuit judge by Governor Guy Hunt to fill a vacancy, and elected to the position at the end of the term. In 2001 Moore was elected to the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama. Moore was removed from his position in November 2003 by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary for refusing a federal court's order to remove a marble monument of the Ten Commandments that he had placed in the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building. Moore sought the Republican nomination for the governorship of Alabama in 2006 and 2010, but lost in the primaries. Moore was again elected Chief Justice in 2013, but was suspended in May 2016, for defying a U.S. Supreme Court decision about same-sex marriage.'
“You’ve made it clear you don’t think much of us out here so take this as a FRiendly reminder, it just ain’t your call.”
No, what I have made clear is that Alabama Republicans have a responsibility to support Donald Trump! That should be everyone’s call. Intelligent voters would realize that Roy Moore has been a “problem” for many years, he has run and lost this seat already, and that you owe the rest of us giving the country your best. Living in California, where a very few short years ago, we were the #1 state in the union by almost any measure. Now, by our poor choices as Republicans ( can you say Ahnold the Awful or openers), and thanks to illegal immigration, and even more importantly “legal immigration” by RATs from the East Coast, we are, sadly near the bottom of the heap. So much to say, there isn’t much we CA conservatives can do to help our president, but you folks in Alabama still can. But if you support Roy Moore again, the likely outcome will be that same, and you will be one step closer to becoming the next “California,” along with loosing a valuable seat to the RATs now for SIX years, instead of one or two. So, while “it ain’t my call,” it would be sad to see Doug Jones win the seat permanently.
I will actively support Roy’s candidacy for Senate.

I rest my case! He’s not worthy of being a judge (or a Senator either) because he doesn’t respect the laws he’s supposed to uphold. He truly operates like a Democrat in that he decides for himself which laws he will obey. We’re in bad enough shape in the Senate at this juncture. I’m sorry, as much as I believe in the Ten Commandments, our legal system has determined that our secular laws are “superior” to them whether we like it or not. Alabama owes the country a decent, sane conservative for your next Senator (especially after foisting that feckless little tick turd, Beauregard Sessions on as as AG). Moore fails to fulfill that requirement.
